He'd be able to set his great great great great great grandchildren up with that kind of money. He'd be a damn fool not to do it.
This isn't realistic whatsoever. Batum is staying in Charlotte and I think Whiteside is going to stay in Miami. If Whiteside were to leave i think it would almost certainly be for LA too. I don't think OKC would trade their starting PF for 2 role players and draft rights to players either along with DWIGHT HOWARD IS LEAVING. HE'S GONE. THIS HAS BEEN A THING SINCE DECEMBER. HE DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY FOR US ANYMORE.
he can't make more money in Golden State. If he wants money he'll sign a 1 year max with a player option in OKC and then sign a 5 year max deal next offseason
You guys are overestimating the money being a factor. The guy signed a 300 million dollar deal with Nike and makes more money off the court. He's gonna do what makes him happy.
Here's Stein doin work for his Mavs. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...rget-hassan-whiteside-mike-conley-free-agency
He's referring to the money potentially to be made in Silicon Valley. The contract will be minor compared to that.

Durant is leaving...WOW The very fact that OKC is getting Victor Oladipo is crazy... Westbrook is gone too..
Durant is going to see this trade as the owner ttrying to avoid the tax. See him as cheap. Same thing happened with Harden trade. KD gone bruh
woj on air speaking about Boston in Free Agency getting meetings. Paraphrasing. He looked disheveled when that slipped. Notice he didn't say Durant is likely to return to OKC. If he were on the witness stand, I would say he let something slip. I would assume he was listing where the first guy was headed in a situation and it was an accident. Looking from a far, it's so farfetched that we get Durant here, but I have this weird feeling that he's coming. I don't care how absurd I sound or how much of a homer it makes me seem.
