I think MDA will put Harden/Gordon and CP3/Melo together mostly.

2nd unit implies Eric Gordon. CP3 subs out early to run the 2nd unit with Gordon in the 2nd quarter. No way that changes.

Possibly, who knows at this point. Balancing out the line ups is something MDA excels at.

Donovan Offense vs Mike Dan Tony Offense is laughable. It's Russ' team, Donovan is a cheerleader at best.

Agreed, though my expectation is to have CP3 and Melo in together as often as possible, which means Gordon will be on the court with them, given that Harden and CP3 are going to stagger. Melo will have to coexist with Gordon, and it’s yet to be seen who will get the bulk of the shots. Hopefully Melo gives them no choice and Gordon plays the Robin role, but he’ll have to justify it with his play

I think they'll be fine. They play different games so it'll work.

We don’t have any reason to think otherwise, but my original comment was in response to your implication that Melo would be the number 1 scoring option for the 2nd unit, where I’m just pointing out the fact that he’ll have to usurp EGo for that role.

It is humorous how misinformed this board is at times. Ryan Anderson was not scared to shoot, he was hurt and just like Moute was rushed back and not ready in any shape or form for the playoffs. He was fine before the injury and will be back to the Ryno we love after a full camp and being on same par as his teammates. He didn’t shoot because he wasn’t ready after so much time off and didn’t want to hurt the team. Taking wild unethical shots like Green and others took result in 0-27 performances in critical games.

I meant it in a way that he'll be featured more. When OKC played him with the 2nd unit him and Felton would pick n pop teams to death and Melo would feast. I can see a similar set up with Paul/Melo and EGO taking advantage off ball reversals to the weak side.

There's so much you can do with all that firepower on the court.

Wednesday the earliest. He still has to clear waivers for 48 hours.

I’ll give you a pass because of your join date, but it’s just a running joke around here, pal.

I wouldn't say he excels at it.

It's easy to balance your on court team out when you run a 7 man rotation.

I see it the opposite melo harden n cp3 gordon. I think harden kind of limits gordan. Cp3 seems to know how to let gordan get his tpucjes

Wow. That's either a whole lot of wild conjecture or you have a very close relationship with Ryan Anderson. Which is it?

    ...

I'll tell you what's up. Ryno is gonna cost us 20+ mil for the next two seasons when the only thing he can do is basically hit 3s, set picks... and he can't do it by the playoffs rolls around.

He's been such a sad story, nobody wants to take his contract. He's THAT useless, unanimously across the entire league.

Injury? Okay, I guess that can be a good excuse for sucking. But guess what, he ain't worth his contract, and that is irrefutable.
