The death was ruled a homicide - how was he not indicted? This is wrong.

I think he can still be indicted in federal court. I'm just guessing that because of the last paragraph in that link.

It said the cop feared for his life but yet there was like 5-10 officers right around him.

Wow i'm shocked at the lack of indictment . This one is truly a sad story. This one should be protested by people of all colors. This goes beyond a racial aspect this is one of police incompetence.

It's already been set. Read a book like this one and one come to a little better understanding why there is a complete distrust shared among a faction of those in the African-American community towards those in law enforcement given the history. Even though some of the cases that are being championed today may not be the best examples to hang ones hat on, it does nothing to help the situation if one doesn't at least try empathize with the peaceful protesters. As a white man who's never once been looked at funny or targeted by authority figures (and every scenario in between) due to the color of my skin, I feel it would be more productive to try to come to an understanding as to why these people (who you callin' 'these people'?) feel the way they do instead of simply criticizing them behind a computer screen.

Agreed. I'm far more bothered by this one than I was by the Ferguson no-indictment. Crazy that there was no indictment, at least for manslaughter. Seems like an obvious case of excessive force by that cop.
