Easily one of the best half-hour comedies on television. A friend of mine told me about it. Seeing as though I'm still sporting an analog cable signal and therefore do not have the Starz channel I had no clue that this show even existed. He hooked me up with all the episodes up to this point (one episode remaining to air for Season 2). I am halfway through the second season and there has yet to be an episode that I haven't laughed my ass off while watching. One of the creators of the show is Paul Rudd and the characters all play their roles really well. I highly recommend you guys check it out if you aren't already watching it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1073507/
I flew through season 1 (and what was available of season 2) in a single afternoon a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe there wasn't a thread on it. I'm not liking season 2 quite as much, possibly because Jane Lynch is gone, but it's still hilarious. Plot lines involving Roman are my favorite. Definitely recommended. All episodes are available on netflix streaming for those interested. Oh, and make sure you don't turn it off after the credits start rolling...they chose to be a little quirky about things and roll credits before the show actually ends. They always come back at least once to show another scene.
Roman is my boyfriend. So was Bill Haverchuck. Party Down is easily the best comedy on TV. Too bad it probably won't have a third season due to Adam Scott's contract w/ Parks and Recs & Ryan Hansen/Lizzy Caplan having new pilots.
