Offense is the the last thing that shows up when a rookie earns a starting spot in the NBA by sheer hustle. Parsons is about to blow up....

I hope he sticks with this line up until we make changes to our roster. I will be very despressed if Bud or Hill come back into the starting line-up.

The team improves when KMart and CBud are not playing together.

I think the line up supposed to be

    Lowry
    kmart
    courtney
    scola
    and dalembert

but courtney is out that's why parson is in the line up.

Courtney Lee can not play SF...he is too small, and neither can Kmart, for the same reason....and also that he sucks at D.

Why would you start Courtney Lee at the 3? He would get murdered by the other team's 3.

I think the line up is supposed to be:

    Gasol
    Nene
    Bud
    Lee
    Lowry

And neither can CBud for the exact same reasons.

Actually he can, but he is not quick enough so he does not play as aggressive on the man defense he waits for the guy to commit to the jumper then closes.

It is pretty effective but not as effective as a guy quick enough to deny the ball.

Martin sucks at D but C.Lee is a plus defender .... pending he's defending the other teams PG/SG.

I'd really like to see a lineup of Dalembert , Scola , Parsons , Lee and Lowry. With that lineup you get four plus defenders and three solid scoring options to go along with good rebounding from four of those positions.

You won't see that as long as Martin is healthy, in my opinion, not that I wouldn't enjoy seeing how such a starting 5 played if they were healthy. Even McHale wouldn't replace Martin in the starting lineup, and he's apparently not shy about changing the roles of players on the team.

I disagree with the notion that Cbud is as "bad" a defender as most of the people on this board are claiming him to be, its just that he's been playing out of position since he's been a Rocket in this new era of the NBA.

I for one, would love to see more lineups with Bud, and Terrence playing the 2 Guard spot. Having Parsons, an athletic 6'10" SF, on the floor gives the Rockets the size they really need to overcompensate for what they lose at other starting positions(namely SG and PF)

Budinger is vastly improved on defense, but he's always going to have trouble with the size of starting NBA SF's like Durant, Lebron, etc.(not that every other player in the NBA doesnt have trouble with these guys.)

*It needs to be noted though that Budinger's defense has little to do with the Rockets defensive woes. He has actually been one of the better ones with TEAM DEFENSE. One on one he has struggled because of tough matchups.

I have always been one to preach the "just because your taller, doesnt mean your more effective" notion, but I realize that Parson's ,or Morris in the future, can give the Rockets more size, rebounding, and versatility among the starters.
