I see nothing about Lowry that screams all-star to me... then again the East is so bad last season the Atlanta Hawks team was the All-Star team. I have no ill will toward the guy but I don't miss him. For what he does and what he's getting paid we are better off without him. Long live Pat Bev!

That's not how I recollect the Lowry fa situation going... he resigned with Toronto asap and for a bit below what his value was... ie he took a bit less money and resigned quickly with Toronto - he wasn't going nowhere... I don't disagree on your assessment of Lowry's work ethic vs harden though...
so back in 2011 should we have just signed everyone on the team to a lifetime contract to ensure something like this would never happen? given that those teams had basically the same records as this year's team and no one wants to do that with this year's roster, i would think we should just accept that we will have to let some role players go sometimes, even if we know they are good.
if you want lowry then you don't have harden. and i haven't kept track, but if we sign dragic then do we have cap room for dwight?
This Raptors team is probably the worst conference finals teams I've seen in a while. Proud of Lowry, Patterson, and Scola, but they benefited from a watered down conference. Cave in 4.
