Asschin deactivated him. Someone start a "Start Brandon Weeden" thread. Edit: He has an 'infection'. Spoiler
Somebody had to remove the threat and quiet the masses. An infection in his throwing elbow? Call CSI to investigate this one.
So is he on IR for the season? If So . . . . Why are they jerking this young man around? Just cut him and be done . . . . Rocket River
Easy now, are you familiar with that stuff? Staph infections? I don't know if that's what he's got but people get it in gyms/hospitals all the time and it can kill you or cost you important body parts.
Could you imagine if Houston did start Brandon and he was able to convert on 3rd down more often, hit the long targets, mix up the playbook, and keep defenses on their toes by taking the predictability out of our game? Then we start dominating other teams and make it to the Super Bowl here in Houston? The perfect ending to this fairy tale is to beat Dallas in a Texas Super Bowl, with the quarterback Dallas got rid of, and Jerry Jones was humiliated on national TV as he started having a fit in the owner's box.
Bootychin really surprised me. Brock's consistent trash play really must have sent him over the edge. He's probably gonna get into with management for this.
Next HEB commercial. Brock is grilling, then burns the burgers. Dude with the glasses tells Brock to take a seat. Savage comes in cooking perfect burgers and scene.
The guy throws a pretty ball. Everything looks smooth. Many of those throws today were right on target. But, let's keep in mind that Savage is just now getting his feet wet in the NFL. He won't be perfect because no QB is perfect. But Savage really gave this team a boost today when it needed it. I was in favor of the Texans acquiring Brock, and I have no problems with the Texans sticking with him as the starter as long as they did. But now it's time to see what Savage can do. I am now more hopeful about this team than I have been in many weeks.
