KJ is clearly better than Brewer at everything however starting Brewer did make it to where anus and sewer were never on the court at the same, that shouldn't be underestimated.
Thing I've noticed with KJ this season compared to last season and summer league, is that he now seems composed. Sure I think the MDA system has something to do with it, but he now seems to have the confidence in getting regular minutes that he doesn't have to rush things to try and impress the coaches in order to get a couple minutes the next game. So now he seems to be making better decisions.
I would agree. He seems to be comfortable in his role. I would credit the coaches for coaching him up and putting him in those positions. Last year KJ just looked lost. He looked like he didn't have a good feel on the court. This year, he still is stiff at times but is playing with more flow and confidence. The more defined role clearly helps.
Kj is a very good finisher around the paint. If he can become a truely elite defender like it seems he might he's def a keeper. I think he can easily get his three point shot to at least league avg of around 35% As long as he's not dribbling before shooting a three I think he'll be fine with his shot.
