Oh Juwan . I completely objected on the Juwan trade to the Rockets cause I know he brings a Freddy Krueger like curse. At the beginning he was horrendous, thinking he was still an "ALL STAR" and the 100million dollar man (yes he got that much $$). I was right. Then in the past season, he learned his role on the team and played well. Knowing that he shouldn't take away shots from TMAC and YAO but just to hit the open ones. But I was right about the curse. Once Juwan leaves a team, the team gets some freaking awesome players. Juwan leaves Washington - The Wiz get Jordan to unretire (no playoffs but they get Jordan!) Juwan leaves Dallas - they go to the WCF the next year Juwan leaves Orlando-Orlando gets Dwight Howard Juwan leaves Denver - Denver gets Carmelo Juwan leaves the Rockets - Mike James, Scola, Steve Francis, Aaron Brooks

Everyone (traded) 1st option Juwan goes to Orlando... Grant Hill (injury) Juwan goes to Houston... (Yao and Tmac... injury all but this past year) 1st option Juwan goes to Minnesota... and they trade Kevin Garnett Of course part of the guy's problem is that he ends up being the first option on talent deficient teams. Of course this time the talent is there.... but they are all prepubescent (slight exaggeration ) I think Juwan's role here last year is the type he needs... but where is he going to find it with his huge freaking contract??
As long as JVG is NOT coming back with him, I am OK with Juwan (as least he can be a good teammate cheering on the bench).
