or Cuban for making Parsons an offer he couldn't refuse so he didn't gobble up all our cap space and we finally play some D. Or Wizards GM Ernie Grunfield for not thinking Harden was a max player. So many people to thank for making this happen
SVG has always been overhyped and overrated as a coach and front office guy. What a dumb move to just gift wrap Josh Smith to a playoff team like Houston. I guess Shaq was right in regards to his criticism of SVG.
As an Xs and Os coach at Orlando, I thought SVG was very good at maximizing the players he had. But he really burnt himself at the end. As a personnel guy, SVG was totally unproven. Pistons were idiots to give him complete control. Not everybody is Pat Riley. Knicks are finding this out too.
That's why I say the Rockets deserve the roster we now have--Harden, Howard, JSmith and the key guys surrounding them. We were patient; we are great at evaluating and not overpaying players. We develop undervalued guys. Our 'good luck' and chemistry is something we worked hard for. yeah, baby! Merry Christmas indeed! #pursuit
