Lowry has been a bench player because of Memphis' incompetence, at one point they had Kinsey, lowry, conley, and someone else i can't rememebr at PG, then they traded kinsey, but got Jaric, then they trade for Francis....they just stockpiled the pg position for no good reason, maybe just to cut payroll, but lowry doesn't and didn't deserve to get so little playing time.
they wont come out and say it but here it is. without tmac they wont be winning a championship this year. why not plan for the future? lowry and brooks might make more mistakes than rafer but they are both more talented. talent and athleticism to one of the older, less athletic teams in the league. good move.
When they brought in SF or James, even VSpan, they did not ship out Rafer. that was a mistake. With Rafer here, no one can start over him. It is a myth. no PG position is open.
Luther should be back soon. lol Sometime next week. Joeys injury takes a long time to recover from, no timetable. Dont expect to see him this season.
Rockets better re-sign Artest in the off-season, There is no other all-star player this team is capable of signing. Allen Iverson? We don't want to develop cancer.
Caron Butler? Baron Davis? Are we trying to build a team or is Les trying to collect an assortment of gimps?
Booz isn't signing, he wants a max contract, unless the Rockets do a sign and trade deal and send T-mac over there that has no chance. Hedo? He's old and not better than Artest. Sheed? Same motivation and heart as T-Mac and is really old.
I don't know enough about Lowry to evaluate if he should start, nut please don't call him "top player". Really, what do we expect him to say? He would always talk it up.
for a guy who is super cool and laid back to talk to in person Morey always seems super nervous at the press conference
