    Recap -

Aarons played better with the starters

We can build around these 2 guys giving us depth

Both have different skills Brooks and Lowry.

Up to Adelman on who becomes the Starter at PG.

Kyle is an upgrade as a Player, Better Mix to help us win.

Yes they are young but basketball is about having a better player. If a young pg stops you from winning than Boston would not have won without Rondo.

Aaron has challenges with build, Kyle is thick & strong.

Kyle is a good defender. Aaron is continuing to improve.

We feel we upgraded the team and have a better team with these players.

Kyle is a guy we can build around and can help us now.

Cook is a player we have always liked. He was a favorite of Rudy

They want a 4 that spaces out the court for Yao.

It might be difficult for Cook to get minutes because of Landry and Scola. He gives us another chest piece depending on what team we play. If we play a 5 who can shoot against Yao, we can bring in Cook.

The locker room has enough veterans. Top 5 most veteran teams when you go by minutes. (Morey Stat) We don't mind getting younger if the player is an upgrade.

Our priority was to land a Top Player. We were not looking for names. Kyle and Aaron can develop into very good players.

We think when Tracy is healthy we add another top player. We would love to add one more top player in the SUMMER.

T-Mac is meeting with another Doctor. One doctor recommended Micro-Fracture. Until Tracy hears options, we will decide together on the next step. He is scheduled to meet with a doctor on Friday. Once we meet we will decide on the news.

He saw a doctor that gave him an option. Tracy feels thats a strong option. We feel he should hear the doctor who is going to do the procedure on him. I think we should feel all options especially the doctor who is performing the surgery.

They assume Brian Cook will pick up his option. We feel like we made a player for the same money with Lowry and Cook.

Basicly says team is better now than before trade.
Says Lowry is upgrade over Rafer.

Said Leadership over rated, and veterans should be sufficient.

Youth not a problem, see Boston.

Says Cook will have difficult time to get minutes, but gives them more options for spreading floor.
Says team needs another top player in the summer.
Tmac meeting with doc in Chicago who will likely perform whatever procedure is recommended, micro-fracture not confirmed as the definite choice. Tmac scheduled to meet doctor Friday. Morey said all doctors need to weigh in.

Morey feels they upgraded at point and picked up a player for same money.

You really blame that on Lowry? It's more like the coach's fault. Not his fault. As people have said, Many Grizzlies fans have been complaining he hasn't had enough minutes anyways.

start over Conley? he was the top 3 pick not long ago.

Rafer, on the other hand, "Lowery is better than Rafer"--by rafer's GM and coach.

I don't think he will criticize T-mac because that would hurt his already low trade value even more in the off-season. Even though if teams trade for him at this point it will because of his contract and not his play on the court.

I'll be very pleased if Tracy doesn't have to get the surgery but if he feels like its necessary then he definitely should.

PS: Jerome Salamon said the player that the he was talking about in his article a few days ago was Caron Butler

Yep. His post was pretty ignorant. I mean c'mon, it isn't like they're going to the PO, so why not give the guy who you invested a top 5 pick on more PT over a guy who's was the 24th pick? Plus Lowry is like 24, while Conley is 19-20. The future is in Conley at PG for them, not Lowry.

So McGrady doesn't need microfracture knee surgery? I am so confused. Is he coming back? I kind of feel like McGrady basically traded Alston away, oh I dont know..

Which is fine, but the rockets have thought they had better players that would replace Rafer before; see Mike James, Steve Francis, ect. I hope Lowry does prove to be a solid contributor for us, but RIGHT now it's hard to see this as an upgrade for us. Of course what are they going to say in the press conference? That we down graded? Every team that makes a bad trade doesn't think they are making a bad trade at the time they make it.

There you go guys, Ron Artest is not going to be back this Summer. Morey just said they don't plan on resigning Artest and are going to expect to sign another player with Artests expiring contract to help Yao Ming and T-Mac.

    Thanks for the recaps

I read this to mean that we're not looking to resign Artest

It was a straight up trade for Artest.
