That's a good comparison to a much smaller scale obviously for the state of Oklahoma.

KD's dedication to bball is like MJ and Kobe. No joke. Almost too much. But he's grounded. After reading up on him and how he was as a youngster, I couldn't help but root for the guy.

I know; I just can't stop thinking of Bull Durham everytime he's interviewed. He somewhat says the same thing. Just funny, not saying I don't think he isn't sincere. I like him.

    Yao Ming ;)

Well one city that definitely has it worse than Houston sports right now is clearly Seattle that has to be brutal...

Thunder are about to roll off a few titles imho....And I'll be rooting for them unless the Rockets are in their way. Very fun team to watch and Durant is easy to root for.

Just wondering are you rooting against the Heat because of all the "who is the best player?" comparisons? I've always liked/respected the Celtics but a Durant vs. Lebron finals intrigues the hell out of me.

Those two calls on Manu changed the game. 6 points right there.

By the way, for all you Kawhi Leonard lovers...............he did nothing this series and could not deter Durant or Harden or Westbrook any at all. I have serious doubts about how good he is actually going to become. I didn't see it last year when he was drafted and I don't see it now.

Stern has gotten all the money he can get out of Duncan. It's all about the "changing of the guard" and "passing the torch" and whatever else the producers told the announcers to hammer in our heads in game 5. Sucks Duncan probably goes out this way though.

Rooting for the Celts because I want the Heat to lose and we can enjoy the off-season fireworks if they don't even make the Finals. It would make the summer more awesome!

I'm almost to the point of thinking the Celts would present a tougher challenge because OKC has the Heat measured. Those of you who saw Miami "win" the 2nd game against OKC this season know what I'm talking about. Just like with the Lakers, OKC is Miami's biggest nightmare opponent.

The guy is a ROOKIE. He did awesome for a rookie as a whole. What you want him to be? Bruce Bowen-like defense? He's facing all-world players right here. He's going to be an awesome defensive player with EXPERIENCE.

Dude put up 9/6 on 52% shooting throughout the whole playoffs. A ROOKIE.

But it must be said, would Russell Westbrook be sitting on the bench with Kevin McHale coaching, or would he coach him up like Scott Brooks has

Its easy to say yes now, but im talking about a rookie Russell Westbrook( when he was so turnover prone)

Kevin McHale is too out of touch with the new era of the NBA
