OMG I can't believe so many people are voting yes.
Do people understand how much a FULL MAX deal for Chris Bosh is? Starting at $20 million that is.

In order to create $20 million cap space, we would need to strip the entire roster down to Howard+Harden+Bev+Parsons. We would need to get rid of not only the obvious guys but most probably also have to trade away valuable assets like TJones/DMO etc.

Bosh to Rockets is really a matter of how much we are willing to offer. If Morey is willing to offer a starting salary of $20M to Chris Bosh, I bet he is already a Rocket. He is still a nice player, but his play over the past couple of years has hurt his stock. He is maybe worth $14-17M/year, not $20M/year and definitely not worth gutting the team to give him $20M/year.

From a karmic standpoint, the Spurs could not really lowball Diaw after his contributions last season.

Also, by giving him a generous contract, I bet they won brownie points with veteran role players whom they may wish to entice in the future.

Very good signing by Spurs. Diaw playing with the Spurs' system is much more dangerous than in other systems.

His passing and court vision is a great piece to their puzzle.

I havent seen the exact deal of how much per year is the contract worth to Diaw. It maybe an even spread of 7 millions per year or a heavy back loaded one with team options. At any rate this is a fair deal, and it maybe a salary dump at the 3rd year for spurs when Duncan is offically retired. They get the cap room to rebuild and restart. I like it.

If POPOVICH agrees with it it must be okay. He probably knows something the public dose not know. POP track record is very good.
