Sports bars or restaurants that are airing Rockets games?

    UPDATE: Visited Nicks Place today and they do not have it yet. Worse (me thinks), they said they were instead getting DISH (becuase they say DISH now has CSN Houston)...but I've not see that verified YET.

    Others have mentioned Canyon Cafe showing the Rockets. They will, if you ask, but you do not get the sound.....I guess they are a wanna be sports bar. They played music, opting to NOT play audio for MNF nor Rockets.

    Dont all bars have to have DirecTV? Does DirecTV get Comcast sports?

    I know their was a big deal in Austin how no sports bars in town could legally carry the Longhorn network because because due to some legal restriction they have to use DirecTV which has still yet to come to a deal with Comcast.

    Been there. It's a dive bar with a bad ass kitchen. Food is great but the interior is like Numbers.

    I'm sure that 360 sports lounge on Washington would have it.

    Went there for the first time last Saturday night and they had every single college football game on so I'm sure they'll have the Rockets.

    Niki Niko's, who have sponsored the team and have a tickets box with Lin's picture at the register, couldn't get pre-season on... don't think they have the correct provider... a shame since they're so tied to the organization with their support.

    I don't know if this counts but I've watched Rockets games at Buffalo Wild Wings on multiple occasions. The only problem is that you can't actually hear the commentary but for the most part I don't think that's a big issue :grin:

    Any sports bar worth going to (well, unless you want to watch the Rockets now, I guess) is going to have DirectTv since they are the only provider with NFL Sunday Ticket. Your best bet will be finding a bar in a restaurant that is not sports-centric.
