One addition... not exactly a true sports bar, but I was walking by Sambuca downtown last week and saw CSN Houston on one of the big screens. Corner of Texas and Travis.

Just realized the game at Red Lion was on ESPN, so they probably don't regularly carry games.

Some enterprising young fan should drop all the names on the CSN list into the Google Spreadsheet and Map. :)

I will get back on the map project this afternoon. My wife and I had our first kid last month, so I haven't been able to scout for as many locations.

Thanks for the mention in the article Jeff!

I have updated the map and spreadsheet with the new entries listed here. I am working on a way to convert the Comcast PDF into something I can use, there are WAY too many places to manually do it.

I have added all the locations from Comcast with a little bit of coding to convert the PDF into a usable format. I noticed the Comcast PDF was missing some of the ClutchFans entries, so the map will have three layers (ArcGIS is limited to 250 entries per layer, and the Comcast info is over 400 locations). The entries from here are in yellow, and the Comcast entries are red.

edit: After looking at the Comcast list, it looks like it needs some filtering. Places like Dollar Barn, or Law Offices don't seem like ideal places to watch the game.

Does anyone know about a spot in Beaumont? If there are others in the area that know of a place, please post.

The red pins are from Comcast, the gold pins are from Clutchfans verified locations. Some of the Comcast locations have been incorrect, and some sites found by Clutchfans have not been listed by Comcast.

The Usual lesbian bar on I-10 and TC Jester has Comcast and shows Rockets games (most of the time w/o sound due to the jukebox, unless it's empty).
