As an aside, I saw this in 3D, and I didn't think the 3D was that remarkable or memorable. Of course, the movie was great. But the 3D was nothing to write home about. I think it may have been one of those post-production conversions. Edit: I see others are being critical of the 3D version as well.
Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers has been rebooted a ton it’s hard to say this MCU character is based on the comics. And yes I get that they made her stupid powerful basically out of nowhere. That’s what I don’t like with her. She’s thrown in there and within no time to the viewer she’s god level. She can destroy almost anything and do everything. Scarlet Witch would be much better to have doing all this stuff imo. Maybe they will turn her into a villain. That would maybe make her character interesting. Sam is underpowered but it’s not like he’s worthless like Captain America before the serum. I didn’t really see the way you are saying things being portrayed at the end either. I guess Sam is such a sidekick type character that I’ve never really put too much into him either.
Don't worry. No one is criticizing you, especially not for this movie. You gotta do what you gotta do.
It's because Groot was too grabby grabby on the set, so MeToo had to be Mjolnir'd into the minds of everyone. I am GroooOOT
I thought the female heroes scene was pretty cool and I liked the Captain Marvel movie although i didn’t like her arrogance early on in Endgame. That being said, based on feats, she’s debatably the 3rd most powerful Avenger, Thor’s feat of cancelling out all 6 infinity stones with stormbreaker and fatally injuring Thanos in IW made him 1 or 2, Wanda’s feat of withstanding a 5 infinity stone Thanos for some time while similtaneously destroying the mind stone plus her performance in Engame puts her around 1 or 2. Then I’d say it’s Marvel although someone could make the case for Hulk too. If you’re basing it off the actual comics and not the MCU i don’t think she’d even crack top 5 tbh based on characters we’ve seen in the movies. She’s powerful, but she’s not the most powerful Avenger in the movies, much less in the comics.
Who was the young guy in the final funeral scene before they got to Happy and Morgan on the porch? I missed that part somehow.
I loved the movie. My only problems with it were the rat that brought back Antman and how fast Tony Stark figured out time travel.
I thought Captain Marvel needing an escort was more eye-roll worthy than the all-female team. She's super OP and just destroyed the battleship. What could they do that Captain Marvel can't on her own?
I thought she was going to be the escort for Spider-Man. They really missed an opportunity for her to tell Parker she's his escort. He'd then be awkward and tell her that there's this girl at school he likes so he's not really into escorts.
Steve Rogers is cold blooded. He goes back in time to be with Peggy. The whole time he knows he's frozen in ice and just leaves his ass there. Haha
Yeah I didn’t get how he just magically did that and didn’t fragment realities. Or maybe reality did fragment and we get into that later. Time travel just opens up a lot of loose ends.
I think many people are wrong about Black widow's death and about her not getting the farewell treatment Iron man and Captain America got. My take is that she is not dead . It would be queer to hold her funeral and she comes back in her next movie. That next movie does not have to be a prequel either. They have already closed this chapter, makes no sense to go back and replay her past. The next Black widow's movie could be about her fighting unknown villains in the realm of the soul stone and finding her way back to Earth.
well the way steve got back to the bench is fairly simple. The ancient one says time is linear. changes will split off into alternate timelines. There isn't really jumping back and forth on the timeline but you can go to points on it since they exist. origin of cap ---------frozen in ice-----------wakes up from ice-----------infinity war-------present time---------back to 2012-------back to 1970--------back to 2018------return the stones/hammer---------life with peggy (alternate timeline)------------back to bench. It's linear and you don't jump back and forth, you just go forward. Bruce goes, your past becomes your future, and your future your past. Something along those lines. Basically you don't really jump back and forth but you go to a specific point in time but it still goes forward in a line or split. So Cap is able to go back to the bench (2018) because it existed in HIS timeline even though he created a new timeline by staying with Peggy. I hope that makes sense.
