Atlanta & Detroit are in free fall. I guess the Cavs could sneak into 8th seed which would appease Kyrie and make some post-season sales.
76ers literally don't have a center anymore. I think their next tallest dude is Brandon Daives, 6'9. Lavoy Allen was the backup and was traded. The ultimate small ball!
Well this is definitely tanking in style. Philly is now my 2nd fav team in the East after Miami. Hinkie has been systematically destroying the team for assets, with 2 lottery pick, Noels and MCW next year they're gonna be all set.
I'm kind of annoyed at how they ruined MCW. He's not learning any good habits playing on a team like these, and that's going to bite him and Philly in the ass in the future.
What's the cap situation like? 3 potential franchise cornerstones locked into rookie deals, enough picks to all but ensure 1-3 big hits (probability) - AND huge cap space, right? They might be nasty. If they have some good scouts and can attract free agents, REAL nasty.
Hopefully, Hinkie knows what he's doing. The downside to rebuilding with multiple lottery picks is there isn't much room for error. Sam Presti killed it, obviously, but you can't draft 12 PG's like Kahn tried to do or draft a couple of Tskitishvill's.
Wish Hawes was on the Rockets. If all it took was 2 2nd rounders, we could have done that and he would have been a nice fit.
OKC drafted four great players worth keeping and could only afford to pay three of them. It's a good problem to have.
