Early 2nds are more valuable than late 1sts IMO, being able to sceptre a deal however you want on minimal salary is key

Besides the Knicks pick which can be argued it had equal value to the cavs current pick, we really don't have many valuable picks. For instance we have a clippers second rounder next year which has protection from 31-50 and 56-60 so we will proberly no pt get that pick ever We also have the worst of the wolves/nuggets pick which will be middle of the road. Then we have a 2017 blazers pick and http at right now has 0 value

I'm also happy that Asik is currently a Rocket. Come playoff time, we might need both guys (Asik and Howard).
I am happy Asik is still a Rocket, and he may be the most impactful addition of any player moved today, but when I was looking at Hawes, it would have been part of a deal that would have also added Thad Young (the player I really wanted).
The Cavs still gonna suck this year, i thought they were gonna turn it around a couple of years ago when they got all those lottery picks, at the end of the day just goes to show you even if you have a high draft picks you still gotta have competent management to make it work.
