Just so you know, SamFisher is the biggest troll in this site's history. And yeah, Llull once again proved he's a joke as a point guard. Real Madrid was losing the whole game with him as point guard, and finally their coach put Rodriguez at PG and they won the game. This whole Daryl Morey and Houston Rockets fan base "Sergio Llull is a point guard" thing is absolutely absurd. But just know on Tomic, SamFisher is racist against all European basketball players and he has NEVER in his entire life even seen a Euroleague game.
In the one smiling picture, the award goat is doing something cute near the camera man! So cute! Many congrats to V-span and his new MVP goat. He is definitely big man in barn now.
Spanoulis does at again. 5 minutes form second Euroleague trophy in a row. winning by 10 against Real Madrid.
Vassilis Spanoulis is the Euroleague GOAT. 5x All-Euroleague Team selection - 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 (tied for the 2nd most All-Euroleague selections ever) 3x Euroleague champion - 2009, 2012, 2013 (only 45 players in history won at least 3) 3x Euroleague Final Four MVP - 2009, 2012, 2013 (tied with Toni Kukoc for the most ever) Euroleague Season MVP - 2013 Only the 2nd player in history to win the Euroleague Season MVP, the Euroleague championship, and the Euroleague Final Four MVP, all in the same season. (Dimitris Diamantidis - 2011) Only player in history to win both the Euroleague championship and the Euroleague Final Four MVP at the same time, on 3 different occasions. The player with the most total Euroleague MVPs (Season MVP + Final Four MVP) in Euroleague history, with 4. Jeff Van Gundy and his worshiper disciples at clutchfans: "But, but, but, Rafer Alston and Jon Lucas III are better"..............
http://www.euroleague.net/final-fou...0/spanoulis-named-bwin-mvp-of-2013-final-four Spanoulis named bwin MVP of 2013 Final Four Vassilis Spanoulis was voted bwin MVP for the 2013 Final Four in a vote by accredited media members at the Final Four. Spanoulis received the Final Four MVP honor for the third time in his career after leading Olympiacos Piraeus to the 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague title at The O2 in London. He joins the legendary Toni Kukoc as the only players to have been named Final Four MVP on three occasions. Spanoulis becomes the second player in competition history to become Final Four MVP in the same season he was named Euroleague MVP. His former teammate Dimitris Diamantidis did the same in 2011.
With all respect due, you're so full of crap that a horrific explosion is probably imminent. For god's sake, take a laxative. I hope no one standing near you. As for trolls, want to find one? Look in a mirror.
http://www.euroleague.net/main/results/showgame?gamecode=253&seasoncode=E2012#!report Olympiacos repeats as Euroleague champion! For the second year in a row, Olympiacos Piraeus roared back from a double-digit deficit to become the Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion. The Reds bested Real Madrid 100-88 at The O2 in London after trailing by 17 at the end of the opening quarter and in doing so became just the fourth team to win back-to-back Euroleague titles in the Final Four era.
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xztkt5_ii-iiii-iii-iiiiiiiiii-iiiiiii-iiiiiiiiii_sport#.UZDAY7Wnqnl There's a nice short video with some analysis on that game. Llull is involved in a lot of the plays displayed, so that might interest Rockets fans, fair warning though, it's not gonna make his 5 million buyout look any more attractive. It's an interesting quick watch for anyone who likes basketball, with some observations about defensive sets that apparently made a difference. Disregard the Spanglish captions, it's got graphics so you can tell what's going on. Sorry I have no idea how to embed it.

Please stop with your "barn ball" jokes. V-Span's award goat was NOT allowed on the court (at least during live play.) It is a serious league, and even though it's been completely drained of what little talent it once had by the NBA, they still take their Turkish Airline trophy with dignity. Thank you.
Every single one of the Jeff Van Gundy worshipers and disciples CARES. They can't stand the fact that Spanoulis is proving Van Gundy wrong, and totally exposing what a huge fraud he was as a coach.
I highly doubt that. Van Gundy has been gone for quite some time and nobody here cares about Spanoulis. If he was on another NBA team tearing it up that would be a different story but the Euroleague has no bearing on the Rockets.
Each time I see this thread on top of the 2013 Draft section: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GGXzlRoNtHU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Nobody really cares about Van Gundy and Spanoulis anymore, agreed. But it does speak to the issue of credibility. There were posters here just insisting that Spanoulis was garbage and Van Gundy was doing the right thing by benching him and running Rafer out there game after game. Some of us kept insisting that he should have been running Spanoulis out there instead and bearing with his rookie mistakes so that he could be up to speed by the playoffs. Spanoulis would have been a difference maker, not from long range necessarily but as the third scorer/distributor who could get to the rim and finish and draw fouls, things Rafer simply could not do in addition to not being able to throw it in the ocean from deep. One of the consequences of that time was NO CHAMPIONSHIPS with Yao and McGrady on the team. We CONSTANTLY STRUGGLED TO FIND AN EFFECTIVE 3RD GUY THAT COULD SCORE AND CREATE!!!! While Spanoulis went back to Greece and thrived. So, it does speak to credibility. Some of us here could see that with Rafer at the controls we weren't going to win. While some of us insisted Rafer was the superior option to Spanoulis. In my mind, after a while posters lose credibility when they constantly downplay talent and they hype the wrong guys, when they can't see who can and can't play in the the draft, etc. After a while with them consistently trying to justify not being able to recognize who the better players are and trying to cover up the truth of who they thought was good and bad....they simply lose credibility to me.
And they also insist that Van Gundy prefers to do color commentary once or twice a week over coaching his own team and making an extra couple million dollars, thus his current situation.
