LOL. JVG can coach whenever he wants. He likes his current gig (which he excels at) and can wait for what he feels is the right situation. Coaches that take #8 seeds to the NBA finals do not come around very often. In fact, I believe there has been one in NBA history.
I think JVG mistreated VSpan, and that a big part of his success was due to Thibs. But there's no doubt JVG can coach, and could land a head coaching job if he were inclined and the opportunity was suitable. And people learn, and change. P.J. Carlesimo is now considered a players' coach with great communication skills, but he was the dictator that lead to Sprewell trying to strangle him just a decade back.
It's always been very clear and evident that these guys like Nook, SamFisher, StupidMoniker and a few others here are personal friends and relative of Van Gundy's. They only even ever posted here to just defend him at any cost. There is absolutely never been any doubt that they are friends and family of Van Gundy.
