I agree. I pretty much found it unwatchable. I couldn't pay attention. Another episode involving poo. Trey and Matt must be fecalfeliacs. This season is off to a sh*tty start...pardon the pun.
Family Guy - Awesome South Park - Awesome KOH - Awesome Simpsons - Awesome People arguing the merits of cartoon comedy and what is really funny - Awesome.
The only reason I care is because South Park is so adamant that their comedy is so much better than Family Guy's. They criticize them for their flashbacks that don't move the story along when all South Park can do is either make fun of celebrities or have Cartman say/do the most outrageous things. I agree with you that they're all funny (most of the time).
You know, there was one thing that should have been more focused on was that the ep in a way was a parody of the King of Kong, about 2 guys going head to head for the world record on Donkey Kong. But instead, the episode was just an excuse to say that even though Bono helps people, he's a piece of sh*t.
Don't you know that any celebrity who wants to help people is full of ****? If there's anything South Park's taught us over the years, it's that.
I thought the episode was hilarious. Randy Marsh is my favorite character, so having a whole episode revolve around him was great! I thought it was a really good ep. I still love South Park (in fact, I just got into it b/c of TiVo about a year ago). family guy is great as well. Not really enjoying the Simpsons as much anymore, but I still think their best 8 years is better than any other animated show on tv.
Well I thought Randy's first and last poo were pretty hilarious...and I like how Stan's mom didn't understand the hoopla over poo because it's a guy thing...but other than that the episode was just ok...basically all the other episodes this season...a few funny moments but nothing that can be considered among their greatest shows. And I think I've given up on the Simpsons...for good...again....the movie wasn't even all that great.
The anti-Family Guy two-parter of South Park had my crying I was laughing so hard. There are few things more unfunny than the writing of Family Guy. I think the writing of South Park is getting better, if anything. Haven't seen king of the hill or simpsons in 3 years, so I can;t really comment, but I recently saw Mike Judges Idiocracy and loved it.
That is the underlying theme for virtually everything those guys do. Even their non-south park stuff. Its getting old..

At the beginning of the show, they said it was a trilogy. Expect next week's to be a "to be continued" as well.
I was thinking the same thing, except that the promo for next week said "tune in next week for the exciting conclusion". So, those two statements are in conflict. I thought that so far, it's the weakest episode of the season. It'll suck if it's weak next week and they try to stretch it to a 3rd episode.
I'm pretty sure it will be a 3-part episode. This week's wasn't that funny but I think it'll get better. Last week's episode about the giant turd was hilarious IMO.
thought this weeks was hilarious seeing all the characters get hurt and all the characters they thought of was hilarious, count chocula with a bloody nose was classic
