After last season I believe the staff would error on the side of caution with any sort of injuries. Makes you wonder if the staff maybe made some wrong calls last season wrt to sitting DMo, Beverly etc.

why? Do the mods know if it's true or not either? It just means they have no confirmation one way or another not that this is true.
The thought process probably is that OP has been a member long enough not to risk passing bad info and Dekker has definitely been held out of SL with a back issue. So the mods will allow it to stand until we get explicit confirmation or denial. But you are right, we should all take it with a grain of salt.
