In regards to shooting mechanics, they both shoot it to their detriment. I don't know how he'll be in the future, but Dekker was more athletic coming out of college than Parsons. Dekker was great in transition with that athleticism. You maybe right about Parsons being better suited to guard the wing because Dekker is a bigger guy despite the same height. Parsons was a better passer and bit better shooter but Dekker was a better scorer and did so a bit more efficiently. They are both tweeners, but Parsons would probably more suited to play more at the 3 and vice versa. However, you can see how Dekker's offensive habits can morph into Parson's offensive habits at the end of his tenure at the Rockets.
One of my fondest memories of the season was one of 00Rocketgirl's annual installments of Valentines Day card.
Are we all talking about the same Dekker who sucked before he had back surgery? He even said it himself. "I suck!" yelled Dekker
That's KJ, Dekker, and Montrez: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">no offseason <a href="https://t.co/LTYhKKHDUB">pic.twitter.com/LTYhKKHDUB</a></p>— Sam Dekker (@dekker) <a href="https://twitter.com/dekker/status/735522311533514752">May 25, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
