He did his job and got 2 years basically guaranteed, I think in the end both parties will be happy, but I believe that DMo got more from the Rockets than they were willing to give - so slight win for DMo, but win win for the Rockets. DD
Only if we waived him and he signed directly to Vipers would that free up a spot. More likely is that Brown is waived. Wiltjer would not even clear waivers they way the league plays now.
Wiltjer can't be released. He's the best shooter the Rockets have. He might even be a top5 shooter in the entire league.
I am agree with dd. In the end dmo got alittle more and job security. The differential from what the rock offer to what he is getting is deminimus, considering the rockets have some other means of making up the difference via cut/trade. We have enough 1yr type contracts that we can open up the difference.
They don't call him the Zaam-master for nothing. But yeah, we needed a new Dmo thread for the day so thanks OP
The type of shots I watched him make at Gonzaga were Curry-esque. That is, if Curry was 6-10 and also had great post-moves with various hook-shots in his arsenal. Too bad Wiltjer's lack of athleticism is holding him back from making his mark in the NBA. Otherwise, his offensive talent is unbelievable.
zaam's been around a long time and rarely kicks in info. Me thinks this wasn't said lightly. I'm sure it's true, regardless of how things shake down in the coming hours. Thanks for the info zaam! People that signed up in 2001 are trustworthy.
