you can still be a good player and not be spectacular. his sophomore campaign in big minutes, he became a solid complimentary player. near 40% 3 pt shooter. he fit better in philly. not a good fit in Minnesota where his role on a nightly basis is still undefined. he would fit just fine here.

any player with high bball iq and good fundamental tools to work with, can provide value next to harden/cp3

 

There are so many offers flying around and so many trades dependent on other trades happening, that it is smart not to get overly excited.

 

Why?

I don't get the love for JaMychal over a guy like Saric, who is 5 years younger and still has opportunity for growth and development.

Green has a bit of an outside jumper but not the type of stretch 4 that Saric could be.

You're basically netting a glorified Kenneth Faried if you trade for Green. Which is not worth a 1st round pick imo.

 

Nah he’s been money for a while now.

 

They would not remove Tucker from the starting lineup if they traded for Saric. There’s room for Saric to get between 25-30 minutes a game between PF/C (PF next to Capela, center next to Tucker)

Love Saric. Would be an amazing 6th man.

 

I like that cyber drops stuff for us but it seems like it's usually a little bit off or late or almost conveyed in some kind of news report.

I'm guessing the odds of us getting Saric are low, but Chriss for Saric and a 1st would do it and generate more luxury tax savings!!!!

i mean saying someone isn't any good then proceeding to ask what can that player do is a bit off.

the ideal thing to say is I'm not familiar with saric from the beginning instead of saying a player is good or not

 

Well they won't give up Saric for free. We have to pay somehow.

 

I’m not a big fan of Saric...a trade for him would be cool, but I wouldn’t be out here doing backflips and popping bottles...at least it’s way better than having thoughts about Alec Burks in a Rockets uni
