Im fine with this. I'd consider him the Jason Terry of PFs. Knows what to do and can hit the outside shot. I think he would take a one year minimum offer if we can give him a well defined role and minutes.

Wasn't he supposed to be a trade target back when CD was GM?

He's like an old beat up version of TJ. That means TJ is probably out a while still :( Wonder who we'd cut for him? Garcia? Black?

Sometimes players want to be on contenders, not sure Rockets are viewed as contenders by many.

Not saying they aren't because besides that shooting slump the entire team had for a week against, Philly, OKC, Memphis and Lakers. Rockets are playing like contenders.

This sounds promising, I just want to know why the Rox havent given a good look at Jermaine O'Neal as a backup big...

lots of NBA miles on that body. easy to forget he came straight out of high school...

never struck me as an efficient scorer, more of a volume stretch 4/5. but considering our circumstances can't be any worse than Black or Dorsey in that regard.

I like that he can spread the floor for Dwight in the middle. He can hit that corner 3.

Dorsey looks so similar to Howard, so we can use Dorsey to confuse the opposite team, pretending that Howard is on the floor even although he is injured right now.

Very doubtful he'll end up in Houston.
Common sense would say we're not cutting a center for Al Harrington, he is a power forward; yes Dmo can slide over but that wouldn't be ideal for a long period if say Dwight sits out for a while. Black is definitely safe with our teams injuries, and Dorsey should be safe with his contract and again, the fact that he is a center.
Only way this happens would be if we dump Troy Daniels. If we do, then they must have little faith in Jones coming back any time soon.
