All good points but W.Chandler is ideal and edge DG out with his intangibles. Chandler defense is better, and that alone is "key" outside of offense. A piece like that, would be someone to replace Ariza soon down the road. If not W.Chanlder or someone similar, K.J. is the most ideal replacement for Ariza, defensively and offensively TOGETHER......not just one-sided. Otherwise, we're looking at Dekker who is a blackhole on defense.
I agree, but tell that to our coach. if you're a big who can't shoot 3's you're a center on this team.
Gallo has an opt out this summer and is therefore an expiring contract. And he has a higher ceiling than Chandler. I would give up Dekker and our 1st for him if they took Brewer & KJ back. You preserve room to make a run at Gordon Hayward this summer or, failing that, sign Gallo using his Bird rights. With Chandler's salary, you're locking in without any chance for improvement via free agency.
I don't get Rocket interest in Gallo and/or Chandler. Danilo is a rental. Gallo is almost identical to Rhino stat-wise (but Rhino is a better 3 pt. shooter) - he should get Rhino type money next year. Wilson is almost identical to Ariza without the friendly contract - he will get paid $5 million more than Ariza next year. We need a 3 pt./ball handling guard or athletc 5. Brewer for Chandler is only thing that makes sense and even then, Brewer at $7 mil. is a good contract for one more year. He has a great plus-minus. The only other goal may be to shed Rhino and/or Brewer money for next year's free agent chase. However, they would be taking a chance on team chemistry for this year.
Yea there is. http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/cha...W-8KA2nzwbTA/gendersport/basketball-stats.htm You haven't heard of him before?
Wilson Chandler doesn't do much for us especially with that contract. He's injury prone too. He's an upgrade over Dekker and Brewer, but I can't see it being worth it. I'm guess the Nuggets would be happy to sell while he is healthy after missing a full season from hip surgery.
