I'm sorry, to which sport are you referring? Because it sure ain't basketball. Maybe downhill skiing while dribbling a ball, something like that.
Morey been in hibernation for a while now. Glad to hear he's actually awake and working. I hope he doesn't lowball them. Causing them to leave the negotiation table and end up trading chandler for damn near nothing. Are teams afraid of being trade raped by this dude?
Wilson Chandler is the one guy I want the Rockets to add. He can play both forward positions and would eliminate the need to play Brewer. He can also play the stretch four role when Anderson is down (and Anderson will inevitably go down at some point). I would love to pick him up and then somehow find a decent guard to replace Ennis when Beverley or Gordon are down. God I wish we would have brought in Yogi Farrell.
Obligatory clutchfans notification for @Codman, so he can visit this thread and talk about #FreeBirds
I haven't seen much from Wilson this year, if we had to give up Ariza and keep brewer is it worth it?
Solid info. I hope something happens because they're fooling themselves if they think we're good enough as constructed. We'll win 50 plus games, maybe even make a push for 60 if they can get hot again, but this team as constructed is just as likely to get ousted in the 1st round as they are of making it to the Western Conference Finals.
I absolutely love Wilson Chandler's game. He has an incredibly high basketball IQ, and has a similar motor to Beverley. He would be a huge asset on this team. I'm wondering if it would be possible to pry both Chandler and Gallo off the Nuggets.....perhaps Harrell, Brewer, and a first?
FYI, Wilson Chandler's contract is 11M this year, 12.M in 2017 and a Player Option in 2018 for 12.8M So Brewer(+KJ) would have to go back in any deal to match salaries. Gallo this year is 15M. And of course Gallo has a player option for next year he will likely decline and be a UFA.
You think Gallo would decline? I doubt he gets north of $15 million, but then again maybe he wants a long term deal.
So essentially, unless we're throwing in someone like Ariza, there's no way we could acquire both Chandler and Gallo?
Exactly. Yesterday was a big alarm. We are going nowhere with this team in the playoff. Chandler is a nice player, but our problem are the bigs . Capela is not ready and Anderson is nice bench player. The answer was there, but Toronto paid the price. We didnt.
