Swapping out Lin and adding Lowry would be a solid move. If we're also ditching Asik and/or he walks for nothing in 2015 (Morey wouldn't let that happen) then it's failure. Asik & Lowry on the roster, I'm good with that.

They have nothing to offer for Kevin Love that comes close to what other teams are offering despite what some on this board would have you believe.

 

A great news, but Lowry should be 2nd option if the rockets are going to miss Melo. I will say again: Getting Bosh would be a mistake, just like the trade of Gasol.

I would be fine with getting rid of a minus in Lin and upgrading with a plus in Lowry.

 

getting lowry would be huge - if the first 3 do not work out -- its not that the team doesnt have 'faith' in Canaan but its in win now mode and Lowry helps you win.

Having Bev come off the bench would be great - he can easily disrupt the other teams second unit and help steady the pace when the bench in the past have lost leads.

Lowry becomes a much bigger threat to score the ball and still defend

you can run bev/lowry back courts to give harden rest as Kyle can score like a 2guard

Bosh would solve tons of problems on this team. He would be a stretch 4, back-up center, and massive upgrade on defense vs. TJones. Also, I can almost guarantee that we would go after Sergio Llull with our MLE if we sign Bosh.....hopefully he takes it.

There's also guys like Shawn Marion, Channing Frye, etc. who would be nice gets if Millsap isn't available.

 

This past season during an interview, Lowry expressed regret for his attitude and actions against McHale. He wished he could have a "do over". I guess that cleared a possible pathway back to Houston.

 

If LeBron, Wade, & Bosh all opt out and sign for less won't Lowry most likely be going to Miami?
