(ANd yes, the LeBrons are part of the conversation) Rockets are trying to be part of a deal, but not necessarily for Jimmy. A 3 team scenario would allow Morey to pick up some parts to improve depth. Sounds like Jimmy wants a quick decision, but Thibs and Co may take their time. Makes sense for them. I did hear that Thibs is pretty upset by the whole thing...loyalty issues and the obvious: His window to win anything becomes even smaller without Jim. Again, sorry, nothing much new from me. Take it with a grain of salt but I’ve heard Rockets are up there in likleyhood to land butler just as any other team and no one team is ahead and wolves actually like Gordon compared to what other teams are offering. We got quality of quantity. Sounds like we got a real fair shot.
Man... if Morey pulls off a Jones + Johnson or Winslow, I would love it!!! I know I am being greedy, but it would be just such an underrated move that ends up pushing us over the top
my first thought is, it would suck to have to lose gordon my second thought, tillman just said this week he's not going to pay the repeater tax. and if we were to resign jimmy we'd then have $150M/yr tied up in just 4 players come 2021
