If Miami really is on his list, then all that noise about Jimmy really “caring” about winning, is bullshit.

I may be wrong, but based on what i’ve observed from Butler, he cares more about being a celebrity than positioning himself to win. If that’s really the case, Miami, LA & NYK are probably his 3 teams.

Packages will all depend on which way Thibs and the Timberwolves are heading. They made the playoffs last year and knowinf Thibs they are looking to win...not rebuild. So obviously they will be looking for win now assets...not rebuilding.

Also...does Butler want to win or play on his own team?

If he wants to win, I just don't see any other teams that are in winning situations that have the pieces other than the Rockets package of Gordon and Tucker. I doubt the Rockets even have to give up a first.

 

If he chooses or really listed Miami as one of the teams, then he is not serious about winning a championship right now. They are not building a contender this year or next. So I'm not going to believe this tweet for the moment. And like someone else said, going to play with Wade on his last leg on the way out because he is your boy, is not about winning a championship.
