This. Between posts about you know who, Harden the anti christ and all the posts from the coach evaluating experts there's been way more than the normal share of irrational emotional posting going on.

Going to be rough until next season gets going.

Actually McHale isn't stubborn like Brown...... Brown would not listen to his assistant coaches, and refused to let any discussion or evolution in how his teams prepared or played. McHale is the opposite of that, McHale is very open to what his assistant coaches say, and their theories..... THAT difference is the only real reason McHale has a job and Brown doesn't.

Let's hire D'Antoni as our offensive coordinator and Mike Brown as our defensive coordinator, then we keep McHale as a recruiter and a cheerleader.

Does Les hate JVG or something? One would think that for a team that's in dire need of defense, he would be one of the first guys you would talk to.

Still, how can the FO sell this team as being in 'win-now' mode, yet keep milk hair as HC?

Not a fan of McHale or Mike Brown.

No offense to them. They are both good people.

DM is a great GM when it comes to trades and evaluating young talent, but dude is 110% wrong when it comes to coaching.

Why the f, would you maintain a mediocre head coach, and hire a great assistant team to surround him? How does that make sense? Mike Brown is not that great of a head coach, and he is still better then McHale...... and we want him as an assistant.... unbelievable.

Am I against Mike as an assistant? No, I just hate that DM wants McHale as a coach because he wants to pull all the strings and make the team play like he thinks we should, 3s, no D, score 150 and win.

With Hollins, SVG, Karl out there...I don't understand why this organization hasn't made the move.

As someone who watches games other than Rockets, I hope this never happens.

He maintains that coaching doesn't really matter and that Mchale is a great coach--the rockets losing those games at the end wasn't really on execution but coin flips....

Can't believe people still have their heads in the sand.

We know McHale isn't going anywhere. How long are people going to whine about it? The whining does not change anything. Sheesh.

And you know, Darryl is a smart dude, but he truly believes what you said there, which is absolutely positively wrong.

You would think that watching teams like SA for 10 years would make you change your mind just a little, or Chicago with Tibs.

Whining in this forum does not change anything on any subject, because no one is making decisions. I guess we should shut down this forum, or just make threads praising things, even tho praising stuff will change nothing....

No, but some of you refuse to try to see the bright side to ANYTHING b/c you'd rather just keep lamenting the fact that McHale is here for another year. I'm not thrilled about him being here either, but continuing to kick and scream about it and saying over and over and over and over and over how stupid it is does what, exactly?

Both depended on talent to carry them. regardless of their opposite philosophies. Both are sub par coaches.

Might be worth it to rid ourselves of all the LOFs.

MB will not get a head coaching job again in the NBA. He is a Pop-tree guy, and could get back on there - - but not as the 'New Pop'.

Certain people read Clutchfans. Not only that but once something is said or discussed on a website other sites can pick it up. If something is on your mind then you are going to talk about it. After a while of people complaining about something sooner or later it will be addressed. When you are upset about something happening to your team and the answer is simple it frustrates you when it is not done. Fans are invested and where else are going to go to voice your opinion on something than a fan forum. Why are you here?

    lolololol

I remember when he coached the Lakers and both the defense and offense sucked. ESPN710 was ripping him, saying, I thought this guy was supposed to be good at D
