The Lakers considered moving Ingram for Boogie. That's the potential they see in him.

Thanks for the response. But that's my point I was trying to get at. I had thought that they considered moving him for Boogie, but decided not to. So I didn't think that we would have a chance to get him for anything that they would want, and that we would be willing to give up. But if they wanted to do a deal for him that was one sided in our favor, I'm sure Morey would be all over it.

I just don't get why Morey isn't all over this Young deal and making that move yesterday. For our team, he is a STEAL for a 2nd round pick and salary fillers. I would do the same for L. Williams if that was an option too.

 

After last season we should've learned our lesson about the importance of IQ and chemistry. Based on this off-season it looks like the Rockets learned their lesson. I doubt they go down that road again.

The Nick Young train has come and gone, Maybe Morey should be setting sights on another "young" player, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Kid is a lock down defender and could play the Matrix role for MDA, for short periods anyway. Fascinated with his intangibles and how he could really develop in D'Antoni's positive culture.

Young has the talent but lacks everything else including IQ, defense and is a disruptor in the locker room. Why do you think Lakers would want to get rid of him?

As a fan of basketball, i don't think I could bare having to watch Michael Kidd Gilchrist shoot his unorthodox jumper. No way. He's a good defender but that jumper makes Brewers form look like Currys.

 

Rockets need scrubs rather swaggy.

 

That's what Lucas is here for. Besides Shawn Marion had a hitch too, and his shot improved over time. Like MKG over Dekker because he would bring a dimension currently missing on this team. Think Brewer's energy but better rebounding, finishing and lock down D. And he's young and his jumper is getting better.
