One question to ask: who would you trust to bring in another star to help you? Danny Ainge or Pat Riley? C's better as currently constructed, but Riley gets meetings with pretty much everyone just out of respect.
I would rather drag my naked body through three miles of broken glass and salt water than live in Utah
Ainge. He has the assets to trade for the right star and riley doesnt. Idc who it is, ainge has a lot more tools at his disposal to bring someone there. Imagine a young star gets disgruntled in the next 2 years. Ainge can easily get him. Imagine lebron leaves and cleveland wants to start over so celtics trade for kyrie. Who knows what could happen but I trust someone who has the assets to improve the team, not someone who talks big game and just signs free agents
Boston or Miami. Preferably Miami. Mainly because with all of the East talent coming to the West, we need to re-balance. Not that Hayward will do that totally, but he gives Miami a star and someone who fits well with their current team. Frankly I hate Miami, its not my thing. If Hayward wanted a great place to raise a family, Houston should have been on his radar. Would have much preferred someone closer to Harden's age to build around.
I don't think that team could beat Cleveland as is. Will be curious if we now see a three way trade with NY, Cle, Bos Love to Boston, Cleveland gets Melo, NYK gets the Bos 1rounder for 2018 and asset. We shall see.
Hell yes, Everything the Jazz have built, all the development, the way their team is structured around Hayward, ALL GONE lol Jazz
I'm glad to see Hayward headed to Boston. It was the right move. The Celtics have a better chance to compete for a title than Utah and Miami do, Hayward will be a star in a conference that really lacks for high-end talent now and it will at least slightly help the massive competitive imbalance right now between the two conferences. Plus, it screws over Utah, so that's just an awesome added bonus.
I feel bad for them. One could almost guarantee that if Stevens was not around that Hayward would have remained with the Jazz.
Thank god at least a single good player from the West went East. It's just all so ridiculously lopsided. Still don't see how a core of IT, Hayward and Horford is truly competitive. They'd be like a 6th seed in the West at best.
I hope this goes through It would be great to see J!zz going back to being irrelevant after replacing Hayward with Bricky Rubio. HAHHA
