Okay, I know Barkley's deal is debatable. At least at the time, we had a good chance of contending for the title. My point was, getting an over-the-peak star in our current situation should not be what we are doing because it would not be enough to beat the Warriors during their dominance. We are not in win-now situation. We should think about the future a few years down the road.

If we keep James Harden which by all accounts it looks like we're doing. That puts us in a win-now mode by default. CP3 may or may not be the answer but I think adding him would be a move in the right direction in terms of being more competitive.

Would give us backcourt personel of Bev, Harden, DRose, EG and Lou.... maybe then we could focus on our actual needs... like getting a reliable option that could actually defend pfs instead of trying to have harden defend Pau and LMA...

All this talk of guards... when Ryno sucked... CC is great - but doesn't have the beef to be the only option at center... Nene can't even play in b2bs and now coming off injury... I love Trez - but obviously MDA doen't.... but by all means, let's keep focusing on the smalls... smh...
