Most likely its a hollow threat This change of tempo of playoff success to blow it up is freaking me out.. :0
The true nature of the Maury only fans is now being exposed during a time of crisis. They've blindly worshiped him for so long and elevated him to a mythical status that they don't know how to react once they realize that their "hero" is not infallible. Unfortunately, I don't think this perspective is an isolated one. This sentiment is a lot more common on this message board than most people are willing to admit.
I think the real question is - is Les trying to light a fire or did he really mean what he said, not whether he said it in the first place.
Morey's unwillingness to assign coach that wouldn't be just his marionette would be understandable explanation why he's on the hot seat. He fired McHale and replaced him with a guy who's responsible for the defense we're running now. Makes no sense when you look at it that way. Different but the same. If Morey isn't willing to limit himself with GM job and continues to interfere with coaching, I have no problem in seeing him walk. It's not like he can do much more with current salary situation, we're already as deep as it gets. All the hard work is done.
Im not trusting some random dude on clutchfans "sources" until I see it from people who actually get paid to provide information
Lol, yes, it's never Maury's fault. He can do no wrong. We can only give him credit for success and never any blame for failures. In Maury We Trust!
So it was McHale's fault that James Harden refuses to give any effort on the defensive end of the court? Really?
You are wrenching my message out of contrxt to suit your own narative. Kwame, I think there is a spot out there for you. The bad part is that is on First Take.
This would be a huge mistake Morey would last about 2 seconds on the open market. McHale? No one will be offering him a job.
Whose a better GM than Morey that's actually available ? That would be a HUGE mistake for this franchise.
