Under your scenario, what is the cost implications inc lux tax for this year; and what is the guaranteed salary for the ensuing seasons?

althought it looks good on paper, people seem to look at the old kevin love, the new kevin love is injury prone and possibly declining. meaning he wont get better. Capela is getting better and just puts up better numbers now than Love, so there really no point. I see the only real advantage would be him getting more open 3's, and his ppg goes up. But if you have to give up eric gordon to get him, probably hurts the rockets. So really not worth it at this point in time.

Kevin Love is an entirely different person than Ryan Anderson. I don't want to see that comparison ever again.

    He wants this more.

Kevin love looks sexy on paper, if you can get him for gordon + fillers 2022 first, i would do it. But honestly, is he going to give you 50 games this year? I mean you put Love on the side there for harden and westbrook to throw the ball out for a 3pt shot, with Capela grabbing rebounds, now thats a good team.

Only if it was for Gordon. You have to throw in a pick probably to get him. But he could be injured again within 25 games of playing, while gordon is sharpshooter who gonna give you at least 65+ games. Just a toss up, or a gamble. Plus it hurts your bench drastically.

Based on the Rockets spending it appears this type of move would require Gordon and Capela. No thank you

The Russ trade was our “JUST DO SOMETHING!!!” move.

No need to do that again.

So we get rid of a center who defends the paint above average, for a guy who couldn't defend it with a pistol and a backup center who may defend it for 15 mpg?.. Sign me up for this catastrophe!

Ah, Kevin Love. God knows we could use his shooting range, rebounding, outlet passes at the 4/5; but he's always hurt now, and played poor defense even when healthy.

So The Great White Hope shall never die.

We need a 4 but we dont need kevin Love. Sure id love to have him but not at the cost of Eric Gordon. Now that we have Russ we need to suround him wuth shooters now more than ever. Gordon is our 2nd best shooter. Hes essential.

We needed to make the deal Denver made with OKC

I agree. Love is a better rebounder and passer. Love still has his confidence. Anderson just lost all confidence in his shot. He couldn't even get time in Phoenix OR Miami and STILL hasn't been picked up as a *Vet Min* guy by ANY team.

That is how far off he has fallen.
