if love was healthy I'd be ok with it. his combination of post scoring, floor spacing, and rebounding is like having nene, tucker, and capela out there at the same time... errr.. except for the fact that he won't be out there, he'll be on the bench in a suit half the season.... and except for the defense... and except for the cost... and...

give me butler or beal first. I don't think love is the guy that gets us over the top. would rather keep ego, tucker, and capela.

It's well known KLove has been coveted by DM for a long time. Before his injury, he was putting up big numbers. You can't use the ole plus minus against him as the Cavs sucked. They held him out after the injury so they could move him. KLove is still an elite 3 point shooter, rebounds like a monster, and contrary to what's been said by some DOES have an inside game. THERE IS A BIG OVERLAY HERE AS HIS TRUE VALUE HAS BEEN HIDDEN BY THE LBJ YEARS AND THE INJURY. You pull the trigger here in a deal for CC+ parts EVERY TIME.

 

Would greatly prefer Chris Paul for Kevin Love.

Love is old and injured. There HAS to be better options out there.

 

He's also a very good passer, one of the best big men in the league in that, but Lebron plays very similar to Harden, Love here wouldn't be anything special or different than what you saw with the Cavs, in fact you can kinda expect what you would see here from him, which would be a pretty good shooter and occasional post up scorer, no doubt about that, but all things considered and considering which team we have to beat, is that worth it 30M per year and losing both Capela and Gordon? For me hell no. I wouldn't even trade Capela straight up for him personally.

Unless we get back something else like Nook suggested, which is possible since Love value with that contract is probably not that good, our two players should definitely have way more value than him.
