I don't blame JVG for not trusting Les, but I wonder how many other coaches out there have issues with the Rockets owner. I keep hearing how the Rockets are one of the most hated teams in the NBA. Is that all from Harden and Howard or does this stem from Morey and Les and the entire culture of the organization?

Not sure any established coach would trust Les... who would?

Smh. More doom and gloom for the Rockets. When they say things can't get worse, that's a lie.

I love Les for his desire to have the best team possible but the bridges he's burnt aren't going to repair themselves

I really wish he would. I think he's gotten way too big of a pass from the H-Town press and to a lesser extent the Rockets fanbase. He inherited that first title team, most of that second one(aside from the Clyde trade), and has overseen nearly 2 decades of mediocrity since then.

I don't really think he has any sort of ability for long-term planning. Everything is about a quick fix or just trying to field a ballclub that's at or over .500.

Seems to me that Mike D'Antoni would be the perfect coach for the system we are trying to run. Who better to run this system that the coach that revolutionized it. He had success in Phoenix and New York.

I would give strong consideration to Luke Walton.

Why would Harden respect or play hard for him? Hell, even Kobe saw through his schtick.... and he's one of the fiercest competitors ever.

D'Antoni was only successful when he had one of the greatest PG's of all-time running a system perfectly tailored to him.

You would be a fool to do so. He makes me embarrassed to be an Arizona alum. The guy lucked into a positive situation and everyone is gushing over him. illegal screens pretty much run themselves.

I do not think giving a coach consideration is being a fool, probably the other way around by not giving him consideration, but I would still give him strong consideration for coach.

Leslie's image should've been damaged a long time ago. He's been known to lie and put himself in the spotlight. I dislike him with a passion. Would never shake his hand. Hakeem can respect him all he wants, I don't care. The guy inherited a championship franchise and turned into a ****bowl. Only Morey made us respectable again and that's the truth. What did we do between 95 and 2008 that was worth anything? That little run with Charles' fat ass?

Silver lining to all this. Morey's retreads don't work out so well.

I say be brave. All in on Becky Hammon.

Not surprising. I doubt any established NBA coach with choices would come here.

I don't think that Les would bring back JVG either.

They have been cordial enough in recent years but it never seemed likely.

To solve this issue Les's son and JVG's daughter are now going to be forcefully married. This is the only solution.
