My apologizes. Was meaning to quote Solid and definitely not trying to trap you. You should be able to tell from my post though that I am of the same mindset as you about this though.

 

How can that be if we traded away six players in one deal?

 

Because last year's team was not capable of beating Golden State. So we can get knocked out in the 2nd round or WCF for the next few years, or throw a hail mary.

 

We traded away 3 players and a victory cigar, the rest were fillers that we paid cash for. Of those 3 players, only one was actually worth something (Beverley) and the others were basically a rookie with a broken jumpshot and an undersized hustle forward who didn't even play in the playoffs. So, what real continuity/cohesion did we give up exactly?

And the Rockets still haven't improved their front court.
