I believe since we got already a good defensive wing, the Rockets will be (or should) look elsewhere for "tpe" trade targets in other positions.

Yes indeed, there is no need for Shumpert.

Sure they do. Right now, the Rockets are at about $109 million, but a good chunk of that is still nonguaranteed contracts. So, in theory, they could sign Young using the BAE, by dealing some of the nonguaranteed contracts in a sign and trade or by signing him to a veteran minimum deal. That being said, I wouldn't want Young at a deal that ate up most of the NG contracts. Swaggy P at $10 million+ a year scares the crap out of me. But if he wants to come play for the Rockets at a discount by signing the BAE, I think that would be a great value signing for Houston.

    Use the "tpe" for Teletovic.
    Sign Tucker with the MLE
    Give the BAE to Young.

    Everyone wins.

    edit : well except Nene.

@malakas we are pretty much in agreement.

I'd like teletovic for free as a stretch big off the bench.

As for swaggy i don't think the bae is enough for him.

Speaking of the bae, why isn't that enough for NeNe? Could you not use the bae for a 4 yr deal is that why?

This. We need another 6'10 big especially since Capella hasn't been the most durable player during his young career

    Hell no.

    Bobby Brown is the goat.

Besides being the human cigar, he helped recruit cp3 here.

    Vital to our success.

Besides he's really good friends with Harden and cp3 lol. He's getting a check for the minimum to wave towels

Bobby Brown is a FA. Canaan is not needed in my opinion.

I actually like Brown as a 3rd ph or even 10-15 mpg backup. He played really well in mop up time last year which doesn't mean much but he looks mich improved from his early failed stints in the NBA. Not to mention he is good friends with every player in the league!

Bobby brown is a bum. If Gordon goes doesn't hes the primary replacement as of now and y'all cool with that? We know Canaan can come in and contribute. He's shown it. Brown has shown nothin outside of the last minute.

I don't even think we have bobby brown any more

But honestly I like bobby brown as a vet minimum, he showed some poise toward the end of the season. Obviously he would just be insurance
