When Dragic was in Houston, he played with passion and intensity every single night. That's something this team desperately needs. Plus I truly believe we'd get a better version of Dragic than the one in Miami. He fits our system very well.

You don't have to. I understand why people would be dubious. Nobody in Miami or NBA know who I am. I don't break news often. When I have had stuff, I've been right. I won't put my name out there on something I don't believe.

I believe what I am reporting is true. On the other hand, you are terrified it could be wrong. I don't put myself out there to do it.

It's tough to say. I think on a basketball sense, it makes sense for everyone involved. Then other teams can jump in. Any number of things could end up happening between now and Thursday. I wouldn't put it as high as 50/50. Maybe 1 in 4 chance it happens? You don't see trades this big happen before the deadline.

I don't know if it was proposed per se but it was more so ongoing discussions, we'll do this, this and this and it works and now you're trying to figure out the rest.

Framework is out there. It's a matter of if they can come to an agreement. Maybe switch a name or two out. There's money involved. Rockets are over the LT and would like to get under. It's possible Boston jumps in. Rockets would like to find a 4th team to dump Ty Lawson.

Its definitely questionable if rilley changes his course so fast after paying so much ( could end up being one of the worst trades in the history of the league) however the fit has been terrible. Could get more for dragic though. His contract isnt an albatross.

Utah, Orlando, Milwaukee looking for pgs and have some assets. Nets and Knicks dont have assets but looking for pg. If teagues price is sky high as has been reported by Mannix then Dragic isnt that bad as plan b.

Anyway im in wait and see mode.

Go pick up a scrap heap PG, hell you could get Calderon for free.

My thought process here is to collect all the bird rights you can and go all in with team. Pay Howard, pay Horford, pay Anderson.

When it comes to team building you have got to either be on the rise as a team with cap space to get good players (like we did when we got Harden and had the ability in successive years to add max caliber guys) or you have to be good enough to sacrifice flexibility. The worst place you wanna be would be this next offseason, having guys liek Dragic and Dmo maxed out, with no cap space, and a non championship caliber team.

 

He doesnt have to be terrifired if hes wrong. Wont be the first one or the last one and people forget these things. Wont hurt his credibillity at all in the long run.
