feel like this thread was just made to stir $hit up. for real. who gives a flying f*ck why cp left or what happened now? he's gone, we got westbrook now. move tf on
Lol, this is nuts. We're honestly going to make the argument that Harden is the one responsible for CP3? Like Morey wasnt completely infatuated with him? And MDA didnt salivate at the idea of bringing him in? Dont get me wrong, Harden is the one that actually made it happen, but it's pretty safe to say everyone in the organization was all for that move. With that being said, this trade is 100% on Harden. So if this thing blows up in our faces, then Harden deserves every bit of the blame.
Harden wanted Paul. It isn't a good look for Harden mostly. You shipped out a very important piece because he wanted your ass to move when you didn't have the ball and move the ball more? Hardens feeling get hurt quickly.
Lol, he got rid of CP0 because he’s no longer a star, misses 20+ games every year, will be 35 during next year’s playoffs, and his good friend Russ who is 4 years younger was available. Use your head...
And that's the problem. Last year, CP3 was indeed a very good player. But he was being paid to be a superstar, and instead looked like caca more often than not. Yet he still acted like a superstar. If CP3 had played up to his abilities last year, people would be screaming about him getting traded. Instead, everybody's like, "Yeah, we had to do something."
Like I said, after CP3 retires and join the media, he's going to constantly **** on the Rockets organisation and probably Harden for throwing him under the bus. Not that I care at all since plenty of media already does that.
first time I see myself agreeing with bballholic so much. Who wanted CP3 in the first place? Harden did. And now he wants Westbrook and somehow it will be different. because "they want to play together"? Also OP has given inside information in the past and I for one completely believe this one. Well, we will see if CP3 is angry enough to start leaking it to the press so there are more sources. Especially if he gets stuck in OKC.
Who cares about who thought what about what... let's just win with Westbrook and then we don't have to worry about certain player's feelings.
Playoff stats beg to differ. 27% shooting from 3. That's Bad. 1.6:1 assist to turnover ratio. That's Bad.
If he gets stuck in okc then that simply means no one wants him so rockets were right in the first place either that or he lands a destination hes happy with
Played the Jazz and GSW, two of the toughest teams and he wasn't in the best shape. Harden also just shot around 35% which is better but not good enough. https://www.espn.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/3992/james-harden 5.6 Turnovers on average against the Jazz.
The More I think about it.. Morey is a Genius to get rid of CP3's contract and got back what he did with Westbrook... It's a Miracle!
I wonder how much Fertitta is working behind the scenes, overlooking and reviewing Moreys thoughts and processes, getting involved to get stuff done, and actually making decisions and pushing buttons - this year seems different.
Cp3's making the max while being a role player at best. If he took less than the max he wouldnt have been shipped out for WB. He took the most money available to him so he better act like a professional about being traded.
Fertitta gave him the super Max willingly, nodded, it takes 2 for a Tango. Like with Ryan Anderson, they are just undoing a mistake which should not have happened in the first place. Shows that they have little confidence that Free agents will join them, they are clinging onto all the talent that they got. Sometimes they act like a scared small market. That in itself is a problem.
