i remember the media reported bosh had a list too. then bosh acted like wade's lap dog. however, lebron and bosh had never said they headed to miami before the famous one hour special tv show. they including wade talked to many teams and raised hope and excitement of so many fans from teams other than heats. i am very sorry for those fans. they definitely deserve more than broken hearts.

This is maybe where the 6 million dollar trade exception comes in handy as well.

No way the Nuggets do this deal with us without asking for Brooks or Martin...let's be realistic...

    Denver Receives:

    Kevin Martin
    Shane Battier
    Jordan Hill
    Jermaine Taylor
    NY Picks

    Houston Receives:

    Carmelo Anthony
    Aaron Afflalo

Gives Denver top 5 SG in Martin, defensive specialist, veteran, expiring contract in Battier, nice young pieces in Hill and Taylor, and reliable picks for the future.

I dont see how we improve our team with this trade. We would be giving up way too much.

NY 2012 pick and 2011 swap is worth more to Denver than ever. If they can prevent NY from getting Carmelo by trading with Houston => increase in NY pick value that Denver will get in return for Carmelo

Why? That's too much and leaves us with no PG and very inexperienced and weker at PF.

It IS true, they are just throwing the word Houston out there for leverage.

Rockets were never on Bosh's list. He had Miami on there though.

I don't think I can handle yet another ****tease this off-season. First it was Leigh Bodden, then it was Chris Bosh, THEN it was Aaron Schobel, and now THIS (possibly the biggest tease of them all, because he's apparently OPEN to coming here, and it's VERY possible to get him)! For the love of God, please let this ending be "happy."

    Old team:

    Brooks/ Lowry
    Martin/ Lee
    Battier/ Budinger
    Scola/ Hill
    Yao/ Miller

    New team:

    Brooks/Lowry
    Lee/ Afflalo
    Anthony/ Budinger
    Scola/ Patterson
    Yao/ Miller

Thats an improvement imo. This way Lee can get starters minutes and produce more like he is capable to. And we get an defensive stopper in Afflalo to go with our bench.

this. Everyone all of a sudden became ariza b****es after we traded him. I actually remember him dribbling balls off his knees trying to be kobe jr. (yes, there is a lot of innuendo) Les said that the trade exception would be used to net better talent, but i really dont want to put the cart before the horse on this one. if it happens, then i will forgive all sins carmelo performed against the longhorns.

Melo is better than any player we have on the team. Give Denver what they want.
