    Helo Melo.

Somebody photoshop him in a Rockets jersey. He'd look good in Rocket Red.

I agree with the people who are saying we are getting played.

I honestly think he trying to use the Rockets so he can get the deal/team he wants, and it is NOT Houston.

That'd be a fine trade if Ed Wade were the GM of the Nuggets. Lets assume they're not stupid.

What are the priorities for Denver in a Carmelo trade?
    1) Shed salary
    2) Talent
    3) Picks

Trading Battier and Jeffries addresses salary, but you're trade is almost nearly devoid of decent talent.

Jordan Hill and Courtney Lee are nice, cheap prospects but neither would even start for the Nuggets. You make a trade for Carmelo, they're going to want a starter back. That means Scola/Martin/Brooks. I'd start the package with Martin.

JVG could never call our games. His mind would explode once the ball got on the "defensive" end.

I agree with you, but I'd bet on Brooks being a part of it before Martin.

No K-Mart, that is all I ask.

I don't want Brooks to go either, but he is expendable with Lowry.

Give them whatever they want that isnt: Yao, Brooks, Martin or Scola. Make sure we still have ateast 7-8 competent players left over and done.

    Jeffries
    Battier
    Hill
    Budinger
    2 Knick Picks
3 Million cash for a Battier buyout and return.

    Brooks / Lowry
    Martin / Lee
    Carmello / (Battier?)
    Scola / Patterson
    Yao / Miller

Getting Melo = getting Chris Paul.

I'd pay anything that Nuggets want and get it done today.
