can we add mallet's 700 yards to hoyer's? I miss going to nfl stats and seeing our qb in top 8 in categories. I'm sure the line will improve in the running game but it's weird to see that one spot(LG) would cause everyone to shift every week. You need some continuity.
SURELY Rick Smith won't think we have a good enough QB in Hoyer and think it worthwile to avoid investing on a QB again... ...nah, he gonna screw the pooch again. Enjoy having Schaub-lite! (who still seems better than Mallet. Sure hope Savage can show something next year.)
I think he's good enough to start next year. That doesn't mean you don't draft a QB early. I want a QB in the first. At least, try FFS.
I agree. Take a quarterback in the first or second and let them sit behind Hoyer for a year. Lynch would be nice, cuz he's somewhat similar (except in size) to Hoyer. Just with much better tools. If Hoyer finishes the year strong, he's earned it.
So many good teams that are playing poorly right now. Dallas could get Elliott. Baltimore could get Doctson. 49ers could get Goff. Browns could get Lynch. Titans could get Henry. And they all could be picking before the Texans.
