    He just built his retirement home here in Houston. He's always said that Miami was home, but being here for 12 years Houston became more of his Home than Miami. Dude is Houstonian thru and thru. Love the guy, Hope he wins where ever he goes.

    This is actually really good news it's a sign that the franchise is in good hands. Wasting money to keep around a guy that is well past his prime is something a bad franchise would do.

    Good luck to you, Andre. I hope you and Peyton team up in Denver. Let's see what you (and Kubes) can do with a real quarterback. Let's have endless speculation of "See what we could have had!" Most importantly, we'll miss you.

    That said, if there's anyone that can steer this team out of the Andre Johnson era, it's Billy Brass Balls O'Brien.

    Re-sign Kareem, Brooks Reed, and Mallett. Sign Cecil Shorts. Cut Martin. Hope Clowney, Nix, and Cushing are average at the very least. Draft a receiver in the first, an inside backer in the second, BP after that and we are gold.

    I do like Shorts as an affordable #2 option. I'm worried that Maclin and Cobb are products of their system, or QB's, and will be overpaid for.

    Sad that Dre wont be here to enjoy the winning years. Ya know its gonna sting for him to watch Mallett dropping 50 yd + passes on a dime to receivers not as good as he was.
