This is all a ruse. There will be a trade.

Why do the Rockets always play these stupid media games? Its getting tiresome.

Because muralli thinks it's low risk high gain propaganda.

He or his staff is even trying to pull the "no moves this season" bs to mitigate his stupid big mouth mistakes of calling his players assets from years past.

I'll bet he still has a rep among players for that and it affects their morale pre-trade deadline.

Rockets could at least be consistent with their story. They’re not fooling anyone by promoting every Rocket on the All-Star ballot except for him.

Working a deal for Asik in December was equivalent to making a 3 team trade without the main trade partner involved.

Yea same here. Morey sounds like a politician sometimes. He needs to cut the bull**** we know he is smart, but that doesn't make everybody else dumb.

Smh Morey dropped the ball on this one. Dude doesn't want to be here do why hold on to that poison pill contact. Morey is being to picky if he thought he was going to get more than a player or two plus a draft pick. Now everybody hoping and praying dude buy into the system now.

I see a bunch of posts about Morey and playing games, etc yet I can't find any quotes from him or the rockets in this thread. What am I missing? Seems like there is no new news here.

It's serious enough to drive off would-be suitors and keep him on the pine for over a month. Who knows how serious it actually is? If it's serious enough to keep him from playing long-term then I'd like to see us find a way to get rid of him. He's a waste of a roster spot and $8.3 mil in cap room as it currently stands.

i just realized something. if he's injured, then doesn't insurance pay his salary for any missed games? maybe this is all just a show to save les some money while waiting for the right trade move...

Even if he's injured, why can't he turn up to the game?
I haven't seen this dude for ages.

Liar liar pants on fire, Asik will be gone. It's just GM "leak" trying to get leverage back after the big screw up last time. And I don't think the reason Asik not playing all these time was because he is hurt.
