People, remember back when Miami was led by Glen Rice and all the top FAs were desperate to go there? That's right. I don't remember anyone back then either. But they became more attractive with Zo and later Wade. And now they're the team everyone wants to go.

In the end, unless you're NY or LA, no city really matters that much compared to who's on your roster. And I'm willing to bet Dwight Howard's pretty popular among players to play with.

    That's simply stating the obvious.

I dont know one player who is not down with the idea of their own big 3 now. They can do it here in Houston. Williams, Dwight and someone else. Their agents should be be frothing at the mouth for that hype again.

They will, but as long as there's hope for the same thing in NYC, that's going to be the preference. Once Dwight is dealt and the option of teaming up with the Nets (this year) is off the table, things can and will change quickly.

All this is simply a last-ditch effort from the Dwight/Deron camps to get what they each want: a Howard trade to Brooklyn before free agency and Deron's decision. That's still technically possible, and each side is doing all they can. It will soon be off the table, and when it is, the tune will change.

I don't think players like being treated like assets.

I think that they understand that it's a business. They're professionals.

Deron Williams thinks he know more basketball than a classic old school coach. No, thanks.

Choose Deron over Dragic. Deron has way more trade value as an asset.
